These terms govern your use of ANCLA (“the brain of your home” / “el cerebro de tu casa”). By using the app you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use ANCLA. Estos términos rigen el uso de ANCLA. Al usarla, los aceptas. Si no estás de acuerdo, no la uses.

1. What ANCLA is / Qué es ANCLA

ANCLA is a household helper: fridge and pantry, people you care for, medicines, bills, appointments, belongings, and reminders. It can also read a note or a photo you submit in Capture, and it can take an optional paid membership. ANCLA es una ayuda del hogar: nevera, despensa, personas, medicinas, cuentas, citas, dónde está cada cosa y avisos. Puede leer una nota o una foto en Capturar, y tiene una membresía de pago opcional.

ANCLA is a tool to help you remember. It is not medical advice, legal advice, financial advice, or an emergency service. ANCLA es una herramienta para no olvidar. No es consejo médico, legal, financiero ni un servicio de emergencia.

2. Who can use it / Quién puede usarla

You must be at least 13 years old. ANCLA is meant for adults who run a household. Debes tener al menos 13 años. ANCLA está pensada para adultos que llevan una casa.

You may use ANCLA without an account. Creating an account (email and password, or Google, or X) is optional and lets the house follow you to another device if you sign in. Puedes usarla sin cuenta. Crear cuenta es opcional y permite que la casa te siga si entras.

3. Your household / Tu casa

You are responsible for what you add (people, medicines, bills, photos, notes). / Tú respondes por lo que añades.
Do not add information you do not have the right to store. / No añadas datos que no te corresponde guardar.
Medicines and appointments in ANCLA are reminders you typed, not a doctor’s order. / Las medicinas y citas son recordatorios que tú escribiste, no una orden médica.
You can wipe the house in Settings (“Empezar de cero”). / Puedes vaciar la casa en Ajustes.

4. Account / Cuenta

If you create an account, keep your password to yourself. You are responsible for activity on that account. You may sign out at any time. Si creas una cuenta, guarda la contraseña. Eres responsable de esa cuenta. Puedes salir cuando quieras.

We may pause or close an account that is used to abuse the service, break these terms, or harm other users. Podemos pausar o cerrar una cuenta si se usa para abusar del servicio, romper estos términos o dañar a otras personas.

5. Paid plans / Planes de pago

Optional memberships currently offered / Membresías opcionales actuales:

One year / Un año: USD 14.99 per year
Lifetime / De por vida: USD 49.99 one time

Payments are processed by Stripe. Card details are entered on Stripe, not stored by ANCLA. A membership is for the signed-in account that pays. Los pagos los procesa Stripe. Los datos de la tarjeta se escriben en Stripe, no los guarda ANCLA. La membresía queda en la cuenta que paga.

The yearly plan is a one-year membership in ANCLA. The lifetime plan is a one-time payment for ongoing access to that account’s paid house features, for as long as ANCLA offers the service. El plan anual es un año en ANCLA. El de por vida es un pago único por el acceso de esa cuenta, mientras ANCLA ofrezca el servicio.

Prices may change for new purchases. A change does not rewrite a lifetime payment already completed. Los precios pueden cambiar para compras nuevas. Un cambio no reescribe un pago de por vida ya hecho.

Refunds are handled case by case. Write to [email protected]. Chargebacks or payment disputes are processed through Stripe. Los reembolsos se ven caso por caso. Las disputas de pago se tramitan con Stripe.

6. Capture and reminders / Capturar y avisos

If you send text or a photo in Capture, ANCLA uses xAI to turn it into household items. You confirm what is saved. Do not upload photos of other people without a reason to do so. Si envías texto o una foto en Capturar, ANCLA usa xAI para convertirlo en cosas de la casa. Tú confirmas lo que se guarda. No subas fotos de otras personas sin motivo.

Reminders (appointments, medicines, bills, cook time) depend on the permission you grant and on the device. They can fail if the system blocks alerts, the app is uninstalled, or the device is off. Do not rely on ANCLA as your only alarm for health or safety. Los avisos dependen del permiso y del aparato. Pueden fallar si el sistema los bloquea, desinstalas la app o el teléfono está apagado. No uses ANCLA como única alarma de salud o seguridad.

7. Acceptable use / Uso permitido

You agree not to / Aceptas no:

Break the law with the app / Usar la app para romper la ley
Try to break into accounts, payments, or the server / Intentar entrar en cuentas, pagos o el servidor
Abuse Capture, alerts, or accounts in a way that harms the service or other people / Abusar de Capturar, avisos o cuentas
Copy, resell, or pretend ANCLA is yours / Copiar, revender o hacer pasar ANCLA como tuya

8. Intellectual property / Propiedad

ANCLA, the name, the anchor mark, and the app belong to the operator. The household content you enter remains yours. ANCLA, el nombre, el ancla y la app son del operador. El contenido de tu casa que tú escribes sigue siendo tuyo.

9. Availability / Disponibilidad

We try to keep ANCLA working, but we do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. Features that depend on xAI, Stripe, sign-in, or push notifications can fail when those services fail. Intentamos que ANCLA funcione, pero no prometemos que no falle. Lo que depende de xAI, Stripe, la cuenta o los avisos puede fallar si fallan esos servicios.

10. Disclaimer / Aviso

ANCLA is provided “as is”. To the extent allowed by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. ANCLA se ofrece “tal cual”. En la medida que permita la ley, no hay garantías de comerciabilidad, idoneidad para un fin concreto ni no infracción.

11. Limitation of liability / Límite de responsabilidad

To the extent allowed by law, ANCLA and its operator are not liable for lost data, missed reminders, a wrong item read from a photo, a failed payment, or indirect or consequential damages. If a court still finds liability, it is limited to the amount you paid to ANCLA in the 12 months before the claim, or USD 15 if you paid nothing. En la medida que permita la ley, ANCLA y su operador no responden por datos perdidos, avisos que no sonaron, un dato mal leído de una foto, un pago fallido ni daños indirectos. Si aun así hay responsabilidad, se limita a lo que pagaste a ANCLA en los 12 meses anteriores a la reclamación, o 15 USD si no pagaste.

Some places do not allow these limits. Then only the limits that place allows apply. Algunos lugares no permiten estos límites. Entonces solo valen los que ese lugar permite.

12. Changes / Cambios

We may update these terms. The date at the top will change. Continued use after an update means you accept the new terms. Material changes to a paid plan will not silently rewrite a lifetime purchase already completed. Podemos actualizar estos términos. La fecha de arriba cambiará. Seguir usando ANCLA es aceptar los nuevos. Un cambio importante de plan no reescribe en silencio un pago de por vida ya hecho.
