1. Who we are / Quiénes somos
ANCLA is a household helper for everyday life: fridge and pantry, people you care for, medicines, bills, appointments, and reminders. You can use it without an account. ANCLA es una ayuda del hogar: nevera, despensa, personas, medicinas, cuentas, citas y avisos. Se puede usar sin crear cuenta.

By default, the house stays on the device you are using (browser storage). That can include: Por defecto, la casa queda en el dispositivo (almacenamiento del navegador). Puede incluir:

If you create an optional account / Si creas una cuenta (opcional)
You may sign in with email and password, or with Google or X. Then ANCLA can keep your house on the server so it follows you to another phone. That copy includes the household information listed above, plus your account email and name. Puedes entrar con correo y contraseña, o con Google o X. Entonces ANCLA puede guardar la casa en el servidor para que te siga. Esa copia incluye lo de arriba, más el correo y el nombre de la cuenta.
Photos / Fotos
If you use Capture and take or pick a photo (for example the fridge), that image is sent to xAI so ANCLA can read what is in it and turn it into household items. ANCLA does not keep a photo album of those pictures after they are processed. Si usas Capturar y tomas o eliges una foto (por ejemplo la nevera), la imagen se envía a xAI para leerla y convertirla en cosas de la casa. ANCLA no guarda un álbum de esas fotos después de procesarlas.
Payments / Pagos
Paid plans (one year USD 14.99, lifetime USD 49.99) are charged by Stripe. Card numbers are entered on Stripe’s pages, not stored by ANCLA. ANCLA keeps the membership that results (yearly or lifetime) and related Stripe session or customer identifiers needed to confirm payment. Los planes de pago los cobra Stripe. Notifications / Avisos
If you turn alerts on, ANCLA asks for notification permission. Reminders for appointments, medicines, bills and cook time can be scheduled on the device. On the web/PWA, ANCLA may store a push subscription (an address for this browser, not your personal phone number) so a reminder can arrive when the app is closed. Si activas avisos, ANCLA pide permiso. Las citas, medicinas, cuentas y la hora de cocinar se pueden programar en el aparato. En la web, ANCLA puede guardar una suscripción de push (una dirección de este navegador, no tu número) para avisar con la app cerrada.
3. Why we use it / Para qué se usa

ANCLA does not sell your household data. ANCLA no vende los datos de tu casa.
ANCLA does not show ads. ANCLA no muestra anuncios.
ANCLA does not use advertising analytics SDKs. ANCLA no usa kits de analítica publicitaria.
4. Permissions / Permisos
- Camera / Cámara — optional, only when you capture a photo. Opcional, solo si capturas una foto.
- Notifications / Notificaciones — optional, for reminders. Opcional, para avisos.
- Exact alarms (Android) — so a reminder can fire at the time you set even if the app is closed. Para que el aviso suene a la hora aunque la app esté cerrada.
ANCLA does not request your device location, contacts list, or microphone. ANCLA no pide ubicación, la lista de contactos del teléfono ni el micrófono.
5. Third parties / Terceros que ANCLA usa de verdad
- xAI — to understand text or photos you send in Capture, and to write the daily briefing or meal ideas when you ask. Para entender texto o fotos de Capturar, y el recado del día o las ideas de comida si lo pides.
- Stripe — to process membership payments. Para cobrar la membresía. See Stripe’s policy: stripe.com/privacy
- Google or X — only if you choose that sign-in. Solo si eliges entrar así.
- Apple / Google push services — to deliver a web reminder if you allowed alerts. Para entregar un aviso web si lo permitiste.
- Google Fonts — the app loads fonts from Google’s font service. La app carga tipografías desde el servicio de fuentes de Google.
Those companies process data under their own terms when you use those features. Esas empresas tratan datos con sus propias reglas cuando usas esas funciones.
6. Storage and security / Almacenamiento y seguridad
On-device data stays in the app’s local storage on that phone or browser. If you sign in, a copy of the house is stored on ANCLA’s server for your account, and a session cookie (or equivalent) keeps you signed in. Passwords are not stored in plain text. Los datos del aparato quedan en el almacenamiento local. Si entras, hay una copia en el servidor de tu cuenta, y una cookie de sesión te mantiene dentro. Las contraseñas no se guardan en texto claro.
Payment cards are handled by Stripe. ANCLA does not see your full card number. Las tarjetas las trata Stripe. ANCLA no ve el número completo de la tarjeta.
7. How long we keep it / Cuánto tiempo se guarda
- Local house: until you clear it in Settings (“start from scratch” / “Empezar de cero”) or uninstall / clear site data. Hasta que la borres en Ajustes o desinstales.
- Signed-in house: while the account exists, or until you ask us to delete it. Mientras exista la cuenta, o hasta que pidas borrarla.
- Push subscription: while alerts are on for that browser. Mientras los avisos estén activos en ese navegador.
- Stripe records: according to Stripe and as needed to confirm a membership. Según Stripe y lo necesario para confirmar la membresía.
8. Your choices / Tus opciones
- Use ANCLA without an account / Usar ANCLA sin cuenta
- Change or delete people, food, bills and appointments inside the app / Cambiar o borrar datos dentro de la app

- Turn alerts off, or deny camera and notification permission / Apagar avisos, o negar cámara y notificaciones

9. Children / Menores
ANCLA is for adults who run a household. It is not directed at children under 13. A household may include names of family members that you choose to enter. You are responsible for what you add. ANCLA es para adultos que llevan una casa. No está dirigida a menores de 13 años. Una casa puede incluir nombres de familia que tú decidas escribir. Tú respondes por lo que añades.
10. International users / Usuarios internacionales
If you sign in or use Capture, payment, or web alerts, data may be processed in the United States or other countries where those providers operate. Si entras o usas Capturar, el pago o avisos web, los datos pueden tratarse en Estados Unidos u otros países donde operan esos proveedores.
11. Changes / Cambios
If this policy changes in a material way, we will update this page and the date above. Si esta política cambia de forma importante, actualizaremos esta página y la fecha.
